Kanimozhi Santhosh MLA has been appointed as a member of the Rules Committee of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, with the additional responsibility entrusted to her.
Expressing her gratitude for the new responsibility, Kanimozhi Santhosh said in a statement, “I extend my respectful thanks to Hon’ble Chief Minister Mr. Vijay and Hon’ble Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Mr. JCD Prabhakar for selecting me as a member of the Rules Committee of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly and entrusting me with this additional responsibility.”
She said she considered the responsibility another opportunity to work towards upholding the dignity of democracy. She also assured that she would approach important matters relating to the Assembly rules with a strong sense of responsibility and contribute towards strengthening the efficiency and functioning of the Legislative Assembly.
Kanimozhi Santhosh further assured that she would discharge the additional responsibility entrusted to her with full dedication and a strong sense of responsibility.
