The inauguration of the three-day 13th edition of 'Scientist 24' exhibition was held at the Nanda Technical Premises to bring out the best of creativity of college and school students.
Sri Nanda Educational Trust Chairman Mr. V. Shanmugan presided over the function. Dr. Thirunavukkarasu Ramalingam, Tamil Nadu Science Council State Health Sub Committee, Executive Committee Member and Coordinator, participated as the Chief Guest and Registrar of Hindu Institute, Mr. K K Balusamy, Registrar of Kongu Educational Institute, Mr. K Selvaraj Rangampalayam, Registrar of Kongu Vellalar Matriculation School, Perundurai T.N. Chenniappan, Founder and Principal of Karunya Vidya Bhavan Matriculation School K.S. Ponnusamy participated as special guests and inaugurated other exhibition areas containing the creativity of school and college students
More than 1190 inventions related to medicine, science and engineering by school and college students were featured in the exhibition. Innovations of Nanda Educational Institutions - Engineering, Siddha, Naturopathy and Yoga Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Arts, Science and also school students Innovations were also showcased. The Creativity Exhibition will be held for three consecutive days on 9th, 10th and 11th.
Shri Nanda Trust Secretary S. Nandakumar Pradeep, Nanda Educational Institutions Secretary S. Arumugam took the lead of the event. Former President APJ Abdul Kalam's Scientific Advisor Dr. V. Ponraj presented awards to the young scientist students. A painting competition, was also held on the final day. The competitors were categorized by their age in association with Global Art.
Nanda College of Technology Principal S. Nandagopal, Nanda College of Arts and Science Principal S. Manoharan; Principals, Professors, Assistant Professors and Teachers of Nanda Educational Institutions took the lead and organized the programme.
