SSN College of Engineering Celebrates 24th Graduation Day

This month, SSN College of Engineering celebrated its 24th Graduation Day with great enthusiasm and pride. 1002 students were conferred with degrees in the presence of distinguished guests, faculty and proud family members. The chief guests of the event included Prof. T. G. Sitharam, Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE); Mr. S. Sandilya, Chairman, Eicher Motors Ltd and Mr. Harish Lakshman, Chairman, Rane Group.

In her message to the graduating students, Dr. Kala Vijayakumar, President of SSN Institutions, said, “Today marks a significant milestone in the lives of our students as they step into the professional world. It fills me with immense pride to see how far they have come. At SSN, we have always strived to provide not only academic knowledge but also the skills and values that will guide our students throughout their careers. I am confident that they will uphold the legacy of SSN and make meaningful contributions to society. We wish them great success in their future endeavours.”

The highest salary package for this batch was offered by Motorq at ₹1.17 crore per annum, followed by Adobe at ₹84 lakh per annum. Placement in core departments saw an increase, with companies such as Deloitte, McKinsey, Comcast, Caterpillar, Dow, Ashok Leyland, Renault Nissan, Hyundai Motors, Daimler, Saint-Gobain and Microchip recruiting graduates. To meet the growing demands of the engineering, design and energy sectors, firms like JSW Steel, Tata Chemicals, Schneider Electric, McDermott, Technip Energies, Shell, and Hitachi Energy hired SSN graduates for their upcoming projects. SSN continues to uphold its excellent placement record, with over 94% of students securing positions in leading companies across various industries. Additionally, many graduates have been admitted to prestigious top global educational institutions, including Harvard, Stanford, MIT, and Oxford, for higher studies.
