KisanKraft Limited, India’s leading agritech company in agricultural machinery, tools, and seeds, marked its 20th anniversary this week, celebrating two decades of transforming small farm mechanization and farmer livelihoods.
Founded in 2005 by Ravindra Agrawal in a small garage in Bengaluru, KisanKraft has grown into the country’s largest player in small farm machinery, trusted by over 50 lakh farmers. The company offers more than 300 products covering the full crop cycle — from land preparation to harvesting and post-harvest — with a strong presence across India through 5,000+ dealers and 14 regional offices.
KisanKraft’s innovations include BIS: ISI-certified machines, patented designs, and eco-friendly technologies like Sustainable Dry Direct Seeded Rice (SDSR), stubble shavers, and battery-powered equipment. Its Nellore facility strengthens domestic production under the ‘Make in India’ vision, while training initiatives for mechanics and operators have boosted rural entrepreneurship and created local service networks.
“We started with a single goal — to bring affordable and efficient tools to the farmers who need them the most,” said Ravindra Agrawal, Founder & Chairman. “Our vision now is to position India as a global hub for small farm machinery.”
Looking ahead, KisanKraft plans to expand exports to 50+ countries, deliver end-to-end mechanization solutions for India’s top 20 crops, and launch climate-smart seed varieties. With its farmer-first approach, the company continues to empower rural communities while shaping sustainable, globally competitive agricultural solutions.
