Govt. of India is organising a special campaign from 18.07.2023 to 19.07.2023 for identification of SPARSH Pensioners & Grievance Redressal for the tri-services (Army, Navy & Air Force) in 23 districts across India.
As part of the same, a mass SPARSH outreach program was organised on 18.07.2023 and 19.07.2023 by Controller of Defence Accounts (CDA) Chennai for the Defence Pensioners at Mannar Thirumalai Naicker College, Madurai. Ms. M.S.Sangeetha, IAS, District Collector Madurai presided over the Event.
Ms. M.S.Sangeetha, IAS, District Collector, Madurai spoke about the importance of timely identification of pensioners in pension disbursement and the role of SPARSH in Simplifying the process of pension sanction to disbursement. She emphasized that pension is the right of the veterans who have toiled very hard for the nation and that it is the duty of the government to ensure “Right Pension at the Right time”.
Around 900 pensioners from the Madurai district attended the above outreach program. Stalls were installed by CDA Chennai, Record Offices and Banks for Life Certificate Identification, Aadhar updation, SPARSH information, Grievances Redressal, Banking facilities, etc
This program organised in Madurai is the 76th SPARSH outreach program conducted by Controller of Defence Accounts (CDA) Chennai. Pensioners participated in huge numbers and utilised this opportunity for redressal of their grievances related to SPARSH.
