Isha to Offer a 3-day Free Yoga Program

Named Uyir Nokkam, the program is aimed at strengthening the spine, providing relief from joint pain, improving physical health and relieving stress 

A 3-day free yoga class named 'Uyir Nokkam' will be held online from December 1st to 3rd on behalf of the Isha Yoga Center. The program is a simple yet transformative first step into the path of Yoga, designed by Sadhguru to make our body, mind, emotions, energies, and the five elements within us function for our well-being.

This class will be conducted in Tamil for 2 hours daily over 3 days. Interested participants can choose from three available timings: 6-8 AM, 10-12 PM, or 6-8 PM. Anyone above 12 years of age can participate and benefit from this class.

Simple yet powerful yoga exercises like yoga namaskar and Nadi Shuddhi will be taught. Practicing these exercises daily strengthens the spine, provides relief from joint pain, improves physical health, and relieves stress, among other benefits.

Speaking about the program, Sadhguru says, 'Uyir Nokkam means to become life-oriented. Once you orient yourself from your thoughts and emotions to the life within you, you will be the director of your life.'
