34th Graduation Day of Sri Krishna College of Technology (SKCT), Kovaipudur, Coimbatore was held at its college premises.

Dr.Balakrishnan Athiyaman, Senior Scientist & Head, HPC Systems, NCMRWF, Ministry of Earth Sciences, New Delhi was the Chief Guest and gave away the degrees and delivered the graduation day address

While he was addressing, he pointed out that industry expectations are very high. Everyone should equip themself to the industrial expectations. Industry is expecting practical knowledge from the candidate. Production of the industry is now in need of creativity and innovation. The current youth is playing a significant role in developing the products.  While working and doing anything, everyone should earn a good name for self in branding. He emphasized the graduates to be involved in research and development activity to find or invent new products and support the national development.

He also talked about the importance of youth contribution to national development, he says after the degree a responsible position is going to occupy. Become a responsible citizen, because the nation is expecting from the youth.

He advised the graduates to find a good friend. He said this age is a very crucial one in selecting a good friend who is going to direct you in your life. A friend should give positive motivation and find his good character and behaviour. A good friend should always motivate and give positive development.

After the degree, you should build a strong foundation, support the weaker sections and apply your knowledge and skills for societal development. Everyone should have faith, self-confidence and self-discipline. Respect your parents and teachers, he added finally.

Meanwhile S.Malarvizhi, Chairperson and Managing Trustee, K.Adithya, Trustee of Sri Krishna Institutions congratulated the graduates, while Dr.K.Sundararaman, CEO of Sri Krishna Institutions initiated the graduation day ceremony and Dr. M.G.Sumithra, Principal of the college welcomed the gathering and presented the graduation day report. About 918 graduates received their Degrees. Rank holders from various departments were honoured. In this programme, Deans, Heads, Faculties, Graduates, parents and many others took part in the ceremony.
