Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Kotak Life in association with Impact Guru Foundation on December 6, 2023 has deployed one MMV each in Puducherry & Kallakurichi in Tamil Nadu, respectively. Kotak Life’s CSR initiative through MMV will bringing healthcare service to people’s doorstep that can access free healthcare facilities, thus helping them identify health issues at an early stage and get access to free medicines. Kotak Life will support the MMVs with operational expenses, medical supplies, and other essentials required for the efficient functioning of the MMVs till April 2024.
Mahesh Balasubramanian, Managing Director, Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company Limited said, “Our goal is to make quality healthcare accessible to everyone, regardless of their geographical location or financial situation. This CSR initiative aligns perfectly with our core values of care and service and is aimed at making healthcare facilities accessible to underserved sections of society. The initiative will not only contribute to the betterment of national health but will also reassure the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for Good Health and Well-Being.”
With the additions of two MMVs, Kotak Life has supported a total of nine MMV’s in the state of Tamil Nadu & Union Territory of Puducherry.
