National Road Safety Week is observed in India from 11th to 17th January this year.
To support this, on behalf of JCI Madurai Dynamic, its President Jc Shanmugapriyan, Treasurer Jc Sakthidasan, Vice President Jc Vignesh and Immediate Past President and Madurai District Coordinator JFM Deenadayalan conducted a road safety awareness program near Kalavasal Signal, the hot spot of Madurai.
A road safety banner has been installed on the barricade there so that the vehicles coming through the Kalavasal signal from all four sides can see it.
More than 500 vehicles waiting at the Red signal were also given pamphlets containing traffic awareness slogans without disrupting traffic.
JCI Madurai Dynamic honored the Traffic Police Officers who are the silent stars for making our daily lives easier by managing the traffic congestion properly.
