The AIADMK candidate from Erode constituency has filed a list of assets worth Rs 653 crore in his nomination papers.
Ashok Kumar, the AIADMK candidate from Erode constituency, said that he has reached this position after 25 years of hard work as he belongs to an economically neutral family.
Ashok Kumar, who runs a social service in the name of Aatral Trust in Erode, had quit the BJP three months ago and joined the AIADMK. Ashok Kumar is the AIADMK candidate for the Erode constituency. Aatral Ashok Kumar has declared movable and immovable assets worth Rs 653 crore in his and wife's names.
As the incident became a talking point among the political party candidates, he filed his nomination papers for the second time to Rajagopal Sunkara, the Returning Officer at the District Collectorate.
AIADMK candidate Ashok Kumar said, "I was born and brought up in a village, I was from a middle class family and I have come to this position in the economy due to education, hard work and social cooperation.
