In Tamil Nadu, the CPI(M) candidate for the Madurai Lok Sabha constituency on behalf of the DMK-led India Alliance, Mr. S. Venkatesan submitted his nomination papers to Madurai District Election Officer Sangatheetha.
P. Moorthy, Honble Minister for Commercial Taxes and Registration, Dr. P.T.R. Palanivel Thiagarajan, Honble Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services, DMK district secretary Ko Thalapathy MLA, Congress district president Karthikeyan were also present while submitting his nomination papers.
