TNAU conducts training on “Biogas Technology for Sustainable Fuel and Organic Manure”

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) sponsored “Bio energy Programme” is functioning at Biogas Development and Training Centre (BDTC), Department of Renewable Energy Engineering, Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute (AEC&RI), Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. The four days staff training programme on “Biogas Technology for Sustainable Fuel and Organic Manure” was inaugurated on 11.03.2024 at AEC&RI, Coimbatore. 


The training programme was started on 11.03.2024 and ends on 14.03.2024. The valedictory function was held on 14.03.2024. Dr. D.Ramesh, Professor and Head cum Coordinator-BDTC welcomed the gatherings. Dr. A. Raviraj, the Dean (Agrl. Engg.) sought input from each trainee and encouraged them to explore biogas technology as a means to meet energy demands and foster a pollution-free environment, promoting sustainability. 


The certificates were awarded to the participants in recognition of their dedication and successful completion of the training program. Dr.V.Palaniselvam, Professor (Bioenergy) expressed gratitude by delivering the vote of thanks.
