Muthoot Finance Ltd, India’s largest gold loan NBFC, held the stone laying ceremony at Pallivasal Street, Sivaramamangalam to mark the commencement of construction for six new homes under its Muthoot Aashiyana Project.

This initiative signifies a significant expansion of the project's reach and will provide much-needed support to families affected by the devastating floods in Tamil Nadu. This marks a crucial milestone for Muthoot Finance, as it represents the first phase of the Muthoot Aashiyana Project in the state. The company will construct a total of 10 permanent homes for families who lost their dwellings during the December 2023 floods that ravaged Thoothukudi and Tirunelveli Districts.

With this project, Muthoot Aashiyana not only builds homes but fosters a sense of security and stability for these families. These new homes will provide safe and secure living spaces, allowing families to rebuild their lives with dignity.  This initiative adds to the remarkable milestone of 257 homes built across India by Muthoot Aashiyana, offering permanent housing solutions to underprivileged families who have lost their homes due to natural disasters or challenging living conditions.

Talking about the initiative George Jacob Muthoot, Chairman of The Muthoot Group said, “The Muthoot Aashiyana Project's expansion into Tamil Nadu allows us to offer a helping hand to families who have suffered immense loss. We are honoured to be a part of their journey towards rebuilding their lives.  These new homes represent not just bricks and mortar, but a symbol of hope and a chance for a fresh start.”
