Gautam Solar, a leading name in India's renewable energy
sector, unveils its plans to tap the sunlight of South India and contribute it
to developmental activities in the region. At the "Gautam Solar Tech
Workshop and Press Conference" in Chennai, the organization apprised the
media about its growth plan and what steps they have taken so far in making
strong footholds in the region.
With almost three decades of impressive legacy in the
renewable energy sector, Gautam Solar is now focused on strengthening the solar
infrastructure of southern states with two state-of-the-art warehouses. This
strategic initiative marks a significant milestone in the company’s expansion
into South India, aimed at ensuring the efficient distribution and
accessibility of high-quality solar panels to major centers like Chennai, thus
reinforcing Gautam Solar's commitment to establishing India as a preeminent
solar hub.
Gautam Solar’s strategic advancements in South India hold particular significance as they facilitate faster access for project developers, EPC companies, and system integrators in the region to the company’s newly introduced TOPCon Solar Modules. These solar panels, manufactured locally to international standards, underscore India's burgeoning expertise in renewable energy technology.
Mr. Gautam Mohanka, CEO of Gautam Solar, conveyed his
enthusiasm for this expansion, stating, "Our foray into the South Indian
market represents a pivotal moment for Gautam Solar. The establishment of our
new warehouses in Karnataka and Kerala, not only allows us to provide quick
access to cutting-edge solar solutions in these states, but also service
customers in neighboring regions like Tamil Nadu (where we already have a
service center in Ramanathapuram) and Andhra Pradesh better. This move reaffirms
our dedication to driving positive change and technological progress in the
region by empowering local communities, contributing to a greener and more
sustainable future."
Ranked among the Top 10 Indian solar module manufacturers,
Gautam Solar demonstrated India’s growing proficiency in solar manufacturing at
the event, addressing concerns about the quality of Indian technology compared
to global standards. In terms of financial stability and growth, Gautam Solar
has received strong ratings from CRISIL, including a 'CRISIL BBB+/Stable'
long-term rating and a 'CRISIL A2' short-term rating, reflecting its robust
financial health and operational capabilities.
