A comprehensive hospitality training program was conducted for the Hotel Management students of Annai Fatima Arts and Science College, located in Alambatti, Tirumangalam Taluk, Madurai district. The program was organized under the guidance of the college's Correspondent, M.S. Shah, and Treasurer, Mrs. Sakila Shah.
The college Principal, Dr. Abdul Kadir, inaugurated the training session and emphasized the importance of such practical training in complementing the theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom. He highlighted that these workshops equip students with the necessary skills to excel in the competitive hospitality industry and secure promising careers in the rapidly growing tourism and hotel sectors.
Ms. Saphy Esalanmi Rymbai, a renowned hospitality and grooming expert from Meghalaya, delivered an insightful session. She underscored the significance of hospitality etiquette and personal grooming for aspiring hotel management graduates. Ms. Rymbai assured the students that the hospitality industry offers lucrative opportunities and high-paying jobs for those who are well-trained and possess the right skills. She further provided a detailed overview of the various roles and responsibilities within the hotel industry.
Prior to the training session, Professor Balraj, Head of the Hotel Management Department, introduced the Meghalaya expert and welcomed the gathering. The event was meticulously organized by Professors Senthil, Gangadharan, Arun, Senior Chef Kamal and Senbagaraman with the active participation of students Selcia, Sriya, Sukanya, and Bhuvaneshwari. Over 70 students benefited from this informative training program. Prof. Vigneshwara Seemati proposed vote of thanks.
