Vigilance Awareness Pledge taken by CBC Trichy at CREA Children’s Academy Matriculation Higher Secondary School

Central Bureau of Communication Tiruchirappalli under Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry organized vigilance awareness programme at CREA Children’s Academy Matriculation Higher Secondary School Nagamangalam on Tuesday. Vigilance awareness pledge was taken by students led by officials and teachers. 


Field Publicity Officer Tiruchirapalli Shri K Devi Padmanabhan in his key note address said Central Vigilance Commission is observing vigilance awareness week this year from October 28 to November 2. This is being done as part of birthday celebrations of Iron Man of India former deputy PM Sardar VallabhBhai Patel. Culture of integrity for nation’s prosperity is the theme for this year’s vigilance awareness week. He pointed out that Central Bureau of Communication is organizing vigilance awareness programmes at various places in Tamil Nadu under the instructions of CBC regional office Chennai. He urged students to be alert and fight against corruption to make India developed and progressive. He said that vigilance awareness pledge is being taken to follow probity and rule of law and prevent bribery. He spoke about importance of exhibiting integrity in personal behaviour and stop corruption. He told students to get information by reading newspapers and listening to radio news and imbibe knowledge while studying. He stressed importance of honesty and truthfulness and asked to follow the principles of Mahatma Gandhiji. 


Smt Christy Subhadra Correspondent CREA Matriculation Higher Secondary School presided over the function. She urged students to be honest and prevent corruption in all walks of life. She spoke about importance of learning to get knowledge. 


Field publicity Assistant Trichy Shri S Arunkumar welcomed the gathering. He spoke about the importance of vigilance awareness programme. Crea Matriculation Higher Secondary School Principal Smt Shanthi delivered vote of thanks. Prizes were given to students who won in various competition. Students spoke about importance of preventing corruption.
