Voice of Tenkasi Foundation, which has been actively involved in various social initiatives in Tenkasi district, has now expanded to serve Tamil Nadu as Voice of Tamil Nadu Foundation. As part of its new initiatives, the foundation has introduced a program offering free training and job placements for graduate housewives. To facilitate this, the foundation recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shraddha Manu Foundation based in Chennai.
The launch event for this program was held on November 24, 2024, in Sankarankovil. The founder of Voice of Tamil Nadu Foundation, Shri. Ananthan Ayyasamy, delivered the welcome address, outlining the foundation's plans and goals for the next five years.
Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, the event’s chief guest, distributed admission certificates to the selected trainees. In her speech, she expressed her delight at the transformative work accomplished by Voice of Tenkasi over the past two years. She noted her excitement about its evolution into Voice of Tamil Nadu Foundation, emphasizing its potential to serve as the "Choice of Tamil Nadu." She acknowledged the significant contributions of Sridhar Vembu and Ananthan Ayyasamy in putting Tenkasi on the global map and assured her continued support for their endeavors.
"The positivity in this hall is palpable," Dr. Tamilisai remarked, welcoming the confident and determined housewives who had come with a mindset of achieving success. She encouraged everyone to embrace courage and hard work to attain their goals.
Sridhar Vembu, in his keynote address, emphasized the importance of personal growth and preparedness. "Don’t look for jobs; jobs should look for you," he stated, urging the participants to build self-confidence, self-discipline and self interest to attract opportunities rather than merely seeking them.
During the event, the state office bearers of the Voice of Tamil Nadu Foundation assumed their roles, and membership identity cards were distributed. Samuthra Senthil, the State Head of the Human Resource Development Division, administered the foundation's pledge, which was enthusiastically taken by all members.
The event also saw participation from notable figures like Madhumitha Narayanan and Meena Chidambaram of the Shraddha Manu Foundation. The program was hosted by Kaviya and Vishwapriya, and the foundation’s COO, Karunya Gunavathy, delivered the Vote of Thanks.
