TNAU’s Free Health Camp Drive

The Centre for Students Welfare, TNAU, Coimbatore had  hands in glove with Arrow Multispecialty Hospital-A Unit of  Inhouse Medicare combinedly  organized "A Two day Free Health Camp drive" inviting 100s of 300 employees of various cadres of the university for the comprehensive Master Health check up on free of cost. Earlier Dr. V. Geethalakshmi, Ph.D., the Vice-Chancellor kickstarted the programmes.


The Chief Doctor and Founder of the Arrow Multispecialty Hospital., A Unit  of Inhouse Medicare Dr. Haseeb Khan, M.D., hold the discussion on the array of medical and consultation facilities for the patients. Dr, N. Maragatham the Dean, Centre for Students welfare made preliminary arrangement for the effective conduct of the programme.


A medley of Experts and specialists Dr.K. S. Kesavaraj (Geriatric medicine) Dr. Sugirtha Physician, Dr. Kavitha (Dermatologist) Dr. Jayashree (Gynecologist), Dr. Balasubramani (General Surgeon) Ms. Pavithra Physiotherapist visited the university to perform the Consultancy services   and other Diagnoses  for the well being of the patients.   A slew of tests namely Height, Weight, BMI, BMD, ECG, PFT, BP, Physiotherapy Consultancy and Counselling were done. Dr. Ramya, the University Doctor has made logistics along with the battalion of doctors and other health care professionals of the university hospital for the smooth conduct of the Programme.


Mr. Ramesh Manthiri the Administrative Officer of the arrow Hospital co-ordinated the Camp along with health care professionals. Overall co-ordination was done by the staff of the Centre for students welfare.
