The NCC Cadets of Puducherry NCC Group were felicitated by Shri K Kailashnathan, Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory on 03rd March, 2025 at a function organized at the Raj Niwas.
A total of 49 cadets from the NCC Group, Puducherry, as part of a larger contingent of the NCC Directorate Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Andaman Nicobar (TN, P & AN), participated in various National level camps this year. They include the prestigious Republic Day Parade Camp-2025, All India Vayu Sainik Camp, All India Thal Sainik Camp, All India Nau Sainik Camp, South Zone Shooting Championship, National Shooting Championship and the NCC Inter-Directorate Sports Shooting Competitions in which they earned several laurels. In the Republic Day Camp-2025 held in New Delhi, the NCC Directorate Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Andaman Nicobar (TN, P & AN) secured third position among all the Directorates. In recognition of their laudable performances, the Lt Governor felicitated the cadets.
Commodore S Raghav, Deputy Director General, NCC Directorate Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Andaman Nicobar, Colonel N Vasudevan SM, Officiating Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarters Puducherry, the Secretary Youth & Sports Affairs, Puducherry Administration and several other dignitaries, besides the Officers of NCC Group, Puducherry, attended the function.
