RedBus, India’s largest online bus ticketing platform, has expanded into the budget accommodation space with the launch of redBus Hotels. With room rates starting at just ₹399, the platform offers affordable, verified stays across 2000+ cities, including towns beyond Tier 3. The service includes hotels, hostels, lodges, guesthouses, and homestays—aimed at students, pilgrims, business travellers, and young explorers seeking quality and convenience at a low cost.
At the core of this initiative is the ‘Budget Collection’, featuring rooms priced under ₹499, ₹799, and ₹999. Over 15,000 properties on the platform offer services like early check-in and are curated for their proximity to bus stations and railway hubs. The platform also introduces ‘redBus Choice’, helping users filter properties with basic amenities like AC, TV, and free Wi-Fi. Discounts of up to 45%—and more during festive periods—enhance the offering's value proposition.
Speaking on the launch, Prakash Sangam, CEO of redBus, said, “We’re extending redBus’ legacy of affordability and reliability into the hotel space. With redBus Hotels, travellers can now discover and book trusted, value-for-money stays without hassle—while helping budget property owners improve visibility and grow their business.” The hotel booking service is integrated directly within the redBus app, allowing seamless access during ticket booking and beyond.
