The 12th edition of IFAT India 2025, the country’s largest trade fair for water, sewage, solid waste, and recycling solutions, concluded in Mumbai after three dynamic days of business, knowledge exchange, and international collaboration. Organized by Messe Muenchen India from October 14–16, 2025, the event saw a record participation of 18,000+ visitors and 560+ exhibitors from 30+ countries across 45,000+ sqm at the Bombay Exhibition Centre.

Inaugurated by Dia Mirza, UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador, the event featured six international pavilions—from Germany, Canada, the Netherlands, South Korea, Hungary, and Australia—highlighting India’s growing prominence in environmental technologies. Over 400 speakers participated in 40+ sessions across dedicated stages on water, sanitation, waste management, and circular economy themes.

Key programs included the WasteTech and WaterTech Conferences, exploring innovations in circular economy, river rejuvenation, and sustainable urban infrastructure. The launch of the Chief Engineers’ Forum for Swachh Bharat, supported by MoHUA and AIILSG, marked a milestone in fostering peer learning among municipal engineers nationwide.

Several groundbreaking technologies debuted, including Alfa Laval’s SG2 decanter centrifuges, Fornnax’s R-MAX3300 shredder, and Danfoss India’s Edge Computing drives—signaling India’s transition toward scalable, digital, and circular solutions.

Building on its success, IFAT Delhi will debut from April 22–24, 2026, followed by IFAT India 2026 in Mumbai from September 9–11, 2026, reinforcing the platform’s mission to advance India’s green and circular economy.
