Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore in collaboration with the Department of Posts, Coimbatore region organized a mass letter-writing campaign as part of the National Letter Writing Competition on 25.10.2025. Students from various disciplines enthusiastically participated in the event, which was centred on the theme “Letter to My Role Model.”

The initiative aimed to rekindle the art of handwritten communication among students and encourage them to express their emotions and thoughts through personal letters in today’s digital age. The overwhelming participation reflected the admiration of students for their role models, including Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Tiruppur Kumaran, their parents, teachers, and many others who have inspired them deeply. The campaign combined education and expression, inspiring students to rediscover the joy and emotional depth of handwritten letters.

Venkatasubramanian, Public Relations Officer, Department of Posts, and Mrs. N.
