Kalasalingam College of Nursing, First year B. Sc. Nursing students lighting the "Florence Nightingale Deepam" Conducted.
Kalasalingam University Chancellor Dr. K. Sridharan presided.
The Varsity Vice President Dr. S. Shasi Anand said in the inaugural speech, "Nursing students are not enough to learn the subjects well; one should practice more and also develop Communication skills even during the college days."
Vice-Chancellor Dr. S. Narayanan, Registrar Dr. V. Vasudevan felicitated.
The Chief Guest, Srivilliputhur Government Hospital Senior Assistant Surgeon Dr. Suresh Kumar, The Guest of Honour, Medical Director of Kalasalingam Hospital, Dr. James Pandian attended and lit the lamps of more than 200 students and addressed. Later, the students took the "Nursing pledge". Earlier, the College Principal R. Priscilla Inbarati welcomed and Profs Nagamuthu gave Lamping explanatory speech, V. Kala delivered vote of thanks.
