The 3rd Federation Cup Goal Shot Ball National Championship in Trichy was held at Indira Ganesan Group of Institutions, Manikandam, Trichy from December 25 to December 28, 2025.
In the women's category, the Indira Ganesan Group of Institutions Cup was won by the Tamil Nadu State Women's Team with 22 points and won the first place. The second place went to the Bihar Women's Team with 18 points and won the Sri Kalishwari Group of Companies - Sivakasi Cup. Third place went to Siru Malar Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chettikulam, Perambalur District Cup, Andhra Pradesh Women's Team won the Indira Ganesan Group of Institutions Cup in the men's category. Jammu and Kashmir State Men's Team won the first place with 28 points. Sivakasi Sri Kalishwari Group of Institutions Cup was won by Maharashtra State Men's Team with 20 points. Perambalur Chettikulam Siru Malar Matriculation Higher Secondary School Cup was won by Kerala State with 12 points.
The competition was held in league cum knockout mode. Sivagangai District Additional Superintendent of Police L. Francis attended the competition as the chief guest and presented the trophies.
Also, the founder and general secretary of the International Goal Shot Ball Federation, Notala Rajendra Prasad, treasurer of the Indian Goal Shot Ball Association, distributed trophies to the champions. Other special guests of the Tamil Nadu Goal Shot Ball Association were President Dr. Rajasekharan, Vice Presidents Shanmuganathan, Tamilvanan, S.P. Annamalai, Bhavani, Nithya, Dr. K. Srinivasan, Advisory Committee Chairman and Trichy District Goal Shot Ball Association President Dr. Balakrishnan and Joint Secretary of the Association Jayaprasad participated and graced the competition.
Earlier, the vice president of the Tamil Nadu Goal Shot Ball Association, Vigneshwan, welcomed the participants. At the end, the South India in-charge and general secretary of the Tamil Nadu Goal Shot Ball Association, R. Karunakaran, proposed the vote of thanks.
