Kenvue Strengthens Hydration Portfolio with ORSL™ and eRZL™ for Complete Hydration

Kenvue has announced a dual-brand strategy in India with ORSL™ and eRZL™ to address complete hydration needs as dehydration becomes a growing public health concern. ORSL™ will represent the company’s WHO-based ORS range for diarrhoeal dehydration, available in ready-to-drink and powder formats. Meanwhile, eRZL™, effective January 2026, becomes the new name for its electrolyte drink portfolio aimed at everyday hydration, recovery from tiredness, and mild to moderate dehydration.


The newly improved eRZL™ formulation offers faster hydration than water, with 1.4X more electrolytes and 8X less sugar than its previous composition. Designed for daily use, it contains Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, Vitamin C, and real fruit juice to support hydration during heat exhaustion, muscle cramps, weakness, and fatigue.


Manish Anandani, Managing Director–India, Kenvue, said the two-brand strategy strengthens awareness around both illness and everyday hydration needs. Prashant Shinde, Business Unit Head – Self Care, added that the improved eRZL™ responds to rising demand for low-sugar, effective hydration options. Dr. Nikhil Bangale, Head of Medical & Safety Sciences, emphasized the need for greater awareness of electrolyte-based hydration beyond just diarrhoeal care.
