As Valentine’s Day approaches, A.R. Rahman’s The Wonderment Tour is set to draw massive crowds at Chennai’s Jawaharlal Nehru Outdoor Stadium on February 14. Marking Rahman’s much-awaited return to the city, the concert promises a musically rich evening powered not just by the maestro but by a stellar ensemble of singers performing alongside him.
The lineup features Chinmayi Sripada, A.R. Ameen, Nisa Shetty, Nitesh Aher, Amrutha Suresh, Nakul Abhyankar, Adithya RK, Rakshita Suresh, and Singer Srinivasa—each bringing a distinct vocal style spanning classical depth, contemporary flair, indie energy, and global influences. Together, they will revisit Rahman’s iconic compositions while presenting them in fresh, live arrangements that celebrate his signature blend of diverse voices.
Organised by Noise and Grains with Jo Entertainment and Fairgame Entertainment, the Chennai show also includes free Metro Rail passes for ticket holders to ensure smooth, sustainable travel. With tickets fast selling on District by Zomato and a few surprises in store, the evening promises to be a memorable musical celebration for fans.
