Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), in collaboration with the Indian Armed Forces, has successfully concluded the Bharat Rannbhoomi Darshan expedition in New Delhi, marking a significant tribute to India’s military heritage, valor, and unity. The expedition culminated at the National War Memorial, symbolizing remembrance and national gratitude.
The closing ceremony was graced by General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of Army Staff, along with senior officials from the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Border Security Force (BSF), civil administration representatives, and TKM’s leadership team.
The 23-day nationwide expedition commenced on 3 February from Dwarka and covered over 4,400 kilometres across 14 cities and four states, traversing historically and strategically significant regions. A 32-member contingent comprising personnel from the Indian Army, Indian Navy, BSF, and war veterans participated in the journey, reinforcing a collective message of remembrance, national pride, and respect for the Armed Forces.
As the official mobility partner, TKM deployed 15 Toyota Hilux vehicles, renowned for their durability, endurance, and advanced 4x4 off-road capabilities. The fleet navigated diverse terrains, including deserts and challenging off-road stretches, delivering consistent performance throughout the expedition. TKM also ensured comprehensive end-to-end service support with spare parts and on-ground technical assistance to facilitate seamless mobility.
During the expedition, TKM organized a special Toyota Hilux Experiential Drive in Jaisalmer, offering participants a firsthand experience of the vehicle’s robust off-road capabilities across sand dunes.
The Bharat Rannbhoomi Darshan concluded as a powerful reaffirmation of national unity and gratitude, honoring the courage and sacrifices of India’s Armed Forces while fostering deeper public engagement with the nation’s military legacy.
