Joseph Vijay signed his first official files in the interest of public welfare, launching the 200 Units Free Electricity Scheme, the Singappen Special Rapid Force, and the Anti-Drug Prevention Force.
Among these initiatives, the 200 Units Free Electricity Scheme stands out as a landmark welfare measure. Through this scheme, numerous families under the Erode and Gobichettipalayam Electricity Distribution Circles have benefited.
The scheme is designed to reduce the financial burden on poor, underprivileged, and middle-class families while improving their quality of life. By eliminating electricity expenses up to 200 units, families can utilize their monthly and bi-monthly savings for other essential household needs.
