Marking the 52nd birthday of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and leader of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, Joseph Vijay, food items and educational materials were distributed to children residing at Puthu Vasantham Children’s Home near Silukkuvarpatti in Dindigul district.
The welfare programme was organized by Nilakottai Assembly constituency representative Ayyanar as part of the birthday celebrations. The children were provided with food, notebooks, textbooks, and other school supplies aimed at supporting their education and well-being.
Several party functionaries and supporters participated in the event, including Kumaresan, General Secretary of the Dindigul Region of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation; Dindigul District Treasurer Vicky; and branch administrators from Vathalakundu, Periyakulam, Palani, and Oddanchatram.
The participants interacted with the children and extended their birthday wishes to the Chief Minister through the service-oriented programme. The organizers stated that the initiative was intended to promote social welfare and support the educational needs of underprivileged children while commemorating the occasion.
