The Federation of All Trade and Industry Associations (FATIA) organized a felicitation ceremony at a private hall near Veerappampalayam in Erode district under the leadership of its president, Rajamanickam.
During the event, Tamil Nadu Ministers K.A. Sengottaiyan, Minister for Revenue and Disaster Management, and Vijay Balaji, Minister for Handlooms, Textiles and Khadi, were honored along with Members of the Legislative Assembly Anand Mohan (Erode West), Shanmugan (Modakkurichi), and Tamizchelvi (Bhavanisagar).
FATIA General Secretary Ravichandran delivered the welcome address, while Thangamuthu, President of the Erode District Agro Input Traders Association, and Gopalan, President of the Erode Mill Cloth Merchants Association, presided over the function.
On behalf of FATIA, requests were placed before the ministers and legislators to fulfill Erode’s developmental needs across multiple sectors including police, trade center, revenue, agriculture, commercial taxes, textiles, environment, electricity, water resources, highways, railways, and the municipal corporation.
The ministers assured that they would make sincere efforts and take appropriate measures to ensure the growth and progress of Erode. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by FATIA Treasurer Muruganandam.
