The Silver Jubilee celebrations and the 15th Annual General Meeting (2025–2026) of the Erode City Jewellers’ Association were held at a private restaurant on Meenakshi Sundaranar Road, Erode.
The meeting was presided over by Association President C. Palanisamy, with Secretary Prakash, Joint Secretary P.P. Raja, and Treasurer Visu in attendance. The proceedings commenced with an invocation, followed by the President’s address and the singing of Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu. A moment of silence was observed in memory of recently deceased members, after which the welcome speech was delivered. The Secretary presented the annual report, and the audited financial statements for the year 2024–2025 were submitted and approved by the general body. Membership admissions were considered and ratified, along with resolutions of the executive committee for 2024–2025 and 2026–2028.
The meeting also discussed future development plans, welfare measures for members, and their key demands. Speeches by the President, Secretary, and members highlighted important issues, and several resolutions were passed. The session concluded with the President’s special address and a vote of thanks. More than 150 members and office bearers of the Association participated in the event.
