The Tamil Nadu Arya Vysya Intellectual Maanadu 2026 was held at the PSG Convention Centre, Neelambur, Coimbatore, on August 9, bringing together more than 10,000 participants for a 12-hour programme focused on entrepreneurship, technology, leadership, finance and emerging business opportunities.
Organised by the Tamil Nadu Arya Vysya Mahasabha, the event featured over 30 speakers, four knowledge halls and a Business Expo. The Maanadu aimed to encourage young people to look beyond conventional employment and explore opportunities to build businesses and create employment.
Project Chairman Surabi Karthik said the initiative was conceived following a 120-day outreach programme covering more than 40 cities, towns and villages. During the programme, he interacted with more than 4,000 young people and found that many had talent, education and ambition but limited exposure to opportunities beyond traditional careers.
The Maanadu was built around the theme “See. Believe. Build.” Participants were given opportunities to learn from established business leaders, interact with professionals and young entrepreneurs, and gain practical knowledge in areas including artificial intelligence, technology, manufacturing, finance and enterprise development.
The Business Expo showcased business opportunities, solutions, community initiatives, future industries and government and advisory services. Another major attraction was Vysya Shark Tank, which proposed a fund pool of more than ₹50 crore to support promising business ideas and entrepreneurs by connecting them with capital, mentorship and networks.
The event also witnessed the launch of the VITO/Vysya Super App, designed as a digital ecosystem connecting entrepreneurs, professionals, students, investors and families. The platform includes services such as Vysya Jobs, Vysya Learn, Vysya Fund, Vysya Trade, Vysya Connect, Vysya Health and Vysya Heritage. The initiative forms part of the broader Vision 2047 goal of creating a globally connected Arya Vysya community.
Keynote speeches and panel discussions covered business, leadership, money management, national security, science and technology, mental wellness and the future of the next generation. Speakers included Dr. A. Kaliyamurthy, IPS, G.R. Radhakrishnan, G.R. Ananthapadmanaban, Major Madhan Kumar (Retd.), Madurai Veeran Marimuthu, Guru Mithreshiva and K. Annamalai.
The Arya Vysya Excellence Awards recognised achievements in education, entrepreneurship, technology, agriculture, social impact, sports, arts and research. The organisers said free entry, accommodation and food were provided to registered members.
The Maanadu concluded with the message “Think Together • Grow Together • Build Together,” highlighting the community’s long-term Vision 2047 objective.
