The 9th edition of the Hyderabad International Machine Tool & Engineering Expo (HIMTEX 2026) will be held from August 20 to 24 at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad. Spread across 18,500 sqm, the exhibition will feature 350+ exhibitors, 1,000+ live machines, and is expected to attract over 20,000 industrial visitors from across India. The event will showcase the latest innovations in machine tools, automation, robotics, digital manufacturing, and industrial engineering.

A key attraction this year is the DiFact – Digital Factory & Connected Technologies Pavilion, featuring the Digital Factory Experience Zone (DFEZ) developed with the Automation Industry Association (AIA). The live demonstration will showcase Industry 4.0 technologies, including smart factory operations, AI-driven machine monitoring, predictive maintenance, robotics, and production analytics, helping manufacturers—especially MSMEs—understand the practical benefits of connected manufacturing.

HITEX Director Kuna Shankar said HIMTEX 2026 marks a major milestone in terms of scale and industry participation, offering manufacturers an unmatched platform to explore new technologies and business opportunities. HIMTEX Project Head Vinoth Sasidharan added that the DiFact pavilion will provide visitors with a real-world experience of Industry 4.0 implementation, enabling manufacturers to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
