Spiritual leader Sadhguru addressed a massive gathering of young people at the grand Untold International Music Festival in Romania, emphasising the need to create a happy, conscious and responsible humanity for future generations.
The annual Untold International Music Festival is held in the city of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This year’s festival took place from August 6 to 9, with Sadhguru participating as a special guest. The event brought together more than 200 leading music artists and hundreds of thousands of young people from across the world.
As part of the festival, the “Miracle of Mind” meditation app, created by Sadhguru, was made available free of charge to festival audiences and artists. The app features a seven-minute meditation guided by Sadhguru and is designed to help reduce stress and anxiety while improving focus.
Addressing the gathering, Sadhguru said that people were not participating in the festival merely for entertainment, but had come together as one humanity and as a possibility. He stressed the importance of creating a joyful, conscious and responsible human society for the present generation as well as those who will live on the planet in the future.
Sadhguru’s Conscious Music Circle has partnered with the Untold music festival to offer practices aimed at supporting mental wellbeing.
Speaking about the partnership, Bogdan Buta, founder of Untold Universe, said the organisation’s ambition extends beyond creating one of the world’s largest music festivals. Its vision is to create a world where music serves as a force that connects people, enhances wellbeing and creates a positive impact. He described welcoming Sadhguru to the Untold stage and beginning the long-term partnership with the Conscious Music Circle as an important milestone in that journey.
More than one billion people worldwide are affected by mental health conditions, while more than half of mental health problems begin before the age of 24. A significant proportion of the Untold festival audience falls within this age group, highlighting the importance of initiatives focused on mental wellbeing among young people.
