Recognising the important role Advisors play in helping individuals and families make informed decisions about health insurance, Star Health believes that caring for its Advisor community also extends to supporting their health and well-being. The medical camps were organised to encourage regular health monitoring, early identification of potential health concerns and greater awareness of preventive healthcare.
Taking preventive healthcare closer to Advisors
The camps were conducted in association with Lakshmana Hospital, Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Apollo Hospital, Madurai, and Vasan Eye Care, Theni.
Participants underwent comprehensive health screenings, including ECG, ECHO, PFT, haemoglobin, blood pressure, blood sugar, height and weight assessments and comprehensive eye tests. These were followed by consultations and personalised health guidance from specialist doctors, enabling Advisors and their family members to better understand their health parameters and take timely action where required.
The medical teams also conducted health awareness sessions covering routine cardiac screening, preventive healthcare, healthy lifestyle practices and emergency management. Addressing the participants, Mr. P. Balasubramanian, Zonal Manager, Star Health Insurance, highlighted the growing importance of health insurance for every family and encouraged greater awareness of healthcare protection.
