A special programme was held by the Madurai District Humour Forum to honour teachers who have rendered dedicated service, as part of the celebrations marking Teachers’ Day.
During the event, Sherif Ali, a graduate teacher at Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School, was honoured with the “Aram Teacher Award” in recognition of his dedicated social service and commitment to his profession.
The programme was presided over by Pandiyarajan, Organising Secretary of the Humour Forum, who presented the “Aram Teacher Award” to Sherif Ali.
Jegatheesan, Karthikeyan, Sugumari Soundaiyan, and Sheik Nabi, Headmaster of Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School, attended the event as special guests and congratulated the teacher on receiving the honour.
Moses Mangalaraj delivered the welcome address, while Sivasathya proposed the vote of thanks.
