Sarovar Portico, Sriperumbudur is bringing the flavours of Thailand to its guests with ‘Siam Soiree’, a Thai culinary pop-up featuring Chef Penpak Panjampee, popularly known as Chef Vina, as part of Sarovar Hotels’ Culinary Caravan initiative. The buffet-style culinary experience will be available on weekdays through September 17, 2026.

With more than three decades of experience specialising in Thai cuisine, Chef Vina has curated and led Thai food festivals in association with organisations including the Royal Thai Consulate, Thai Trade Center and Tourism Authority of Thailand. Her culinary journey has taken her across Thailand as well as the Maldives, Japan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Turkey and India.

Speaking about the culinary experience, Suranjit Sengupta, Corporate Director - Food & Beverages, Sarovar Hotels, said, “The idea behind Culinary Caravan is to allow our hotels to bring distinct culinary traditions closer to their guests through chefs who understand those cuisines from experience. Each edition has its own identity, shaped by the chef and the food being presented. With Siam Soiree, Chef Vina brings that perspective to Thai cuisine, and we are pleased to have this edition travel to Sriperumbudur.”

Siam Soiree is among the chef-led culinary experiences being presented under Sarovar Hotels’ Culinary Caravan initiative across select hotels, bringing diverse regional and international cuisines to guests through experienced chefs.
