Agri Startup Thiruvizha 3.0 to Be Held in Dindigul on October 4

Sadhguru’s Save Soil, in collaboration with G.T.N. Group of Institutions, is organising “Agri Startup Thiruvizha 3.0,” a mega conference on agricultural entrepreneurship, at G.T.N. Arts College, Dindigul, on October 4.


A press conference on the event was held in Madurai today, where Swami Srimukha, Coordinator, Save Soil Movement, spoke about the conference and its objectives. Along with him, Dhana Food Products founder Dhanalakshmi Vignesh, G.T.N. Arts College Vice Principal Professor Dr. Natarajan, and Save Soil Movement Field Coordinator Parthiban PooMalai also participated.


Moving beyond agricultural production, the event will explore opportunities to transform agriculture into a viable and successful business through value addition, branding, marketing, technology and direct market access.


The conference will bring together experts from four key areas — agricultural business development, agri entrepreneurship, agricultural innovation and digital technology — who will share their knowledge, experiences and practical solutions. 


More than 3,000 participants are expected to attend, with over 100 agricultural exhibition stalls also set up at the venue. This will include Farmers, youth, women, agri and food entrepreneurs, and those interested in agricultural technologies. 


Agricultural Business Development


Dr. Somasundaram, Director, Agri-Business Development Division, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, will provide guidance on market opportunities for natural and agricultural products, as well as government schemes.


Vasanthan Selvam, CEO, EDII-Periyakulam Horti-Business Incubation Forum, will speak on transforming agricultural products into successful businesses. Dillibabu Selvam, Co-Founder – UDM Branding Pvt. Ltd., will address branding and packaging, while Dr. Sasi Deepa, Food Safety Department, Theni District, will explain food safety licensing and export procedures.


Agri-based Entrepreneurs


Entrepreneurs who have built successful businesses through value addition of agricultural produce will share their experiences.


Sindhuja Vetriselvan,  Founder – Prishigo Foods & Beverages Pvt. Ltd, will speak about millet-based food products; Deepa, Founder – Oormanam Foods, will share insights on traditional foods; and Anburaja, Founder – Agaveli Organics, will share his experience of generating an income of ₹50 lakh through organic farming.


Agricultural Innovators


Dr. Rahul Paramasivam, Founder & CEO – Chimertech Pvt. Ltd., will speak about livestock management technologies, while Dr. Selvavinayagam, Founder – Crop Engine, will discuss crop protection using Internet of Things (IoT) technology.


Padmini Sampath Founder & CEO – Green Collar Agritech Solutions, will share insights into technologies for testing the quality of agricultural produce, while Gautham Das, Founder – Myco Matrix Pvt. Ltd., will speak about automated technologies for mushroom cultivation.


Digital Technology Experts


An interactive session titled “How to Grow Your Business through Digital Media at Low Cost?” will focus on leveraging digital platforms to expand agricultural businesses.


The session will be moderated by Archana Stalin, Founder – My Harvest Farms. Kamala Kannan, Co-Founder – Zhar Tech and Raji’s Kitchen, will speak about opportunities for online sales, while Vivek Paramasivam, Head of Digital Media, Save Soil Movement, will share strategies for attracting customers through social media.


The event will provide participants with practical guidance across the agricultural business value chain — from producing and adding value to agricultural products, to building a brand, accessing markets and reaching customers through digital and social media platforms.
