MLA Kanimozhi Santhosh launched the ‘Karka AI’ initiative in Saravanampatti ward of the Kavundampalayam Assembly constituency to create public awareness about Artificial Intelligence (AI), under the guidance of Chief Minister Joseph Vijay.
With AI playing an increasingly important role in modern life, the initiative aims to educate people of all age groups about its practical applications in education, employment, daily life and other fields.
Speaking at the launch, Kanimozhi Santhosh said AI would play a crucial role in the future and help people access employment opportunities and improve their quality of life. She stressed the need to extend AI awareness programmes to all areas of the Kavundampalayam constituency.
Healthy Competition and Debate Essential in Democracy
Responding to a question from reporters about women functionaries meeting Dhanush, she said anyone could meet others for political purposes in a democratic country. The Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam welcomed everyone, and healthy debates and competition were essential in politics, she added.
Swift Action in Rain-Affected Areas
On measures to address problems in rain-affected areas, the MLA said the opportunities for people to report their grievances had increased and that the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam government was working to identify public grievances and resolve them quickly.
She added that conditions in affected areas were being continuously monitored and reports on local problems and their current status were being sent to the Chief Minister. Steps were also being taken to complete projects that had remained pending for a long time under the previous administration.
The government’s primary objective would be to understand public needs promptly and ensure speedy resolution of grievances, she said.
