Aatral Trust inaugurates Medical Center in Erode

As a continuation of its community service,  Aatral Trust (NGO) started a Medical Center for poor at Jeevanandam Road, Erode on Wednesday evening to offer specialized medical services for 18 different by collecting diseases by just Rs 10 per patient, said the NGO president Aatral Ashokkumar. 

It was inaugurated by the ex-MP Sowndaram and MLA Dr CK Saraswathi. It will function from 10 am to 12 noon on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and from 4 pm to 8 pm on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday with doctors.

Medicines will be given free of cost for some diseases. Our aim is to ensure disease- free society, he said.

The NGO which renovated many government schools in the Kovai region for the past many years, opened a canteen at CSI complex recently and was providing food to poor 3 times in a day at a cost of Rs 10 at each time. Around 1000 were getting benefit daily in the canteen from Monday to Friday.

The NGO also honoured many sanitary workers of the region for their service to people during Corona period by organising a function at Erode recently.
