Adobe, the global technology leader in creativity, productivity and personalized customer experiences, has announced the availability of the Adobe Premiere mobile app on Android, bringing professional-quality video editing tools to millions of creators for free. Diksha Kuhar, Director, Product Marketing, Premiere mobile, Adobe, said that with 95% of Indian creators already being mobile-first, Premiere mobile on both iOS and Android will put Adobe’s professional video tools in the hands of millions of creators across India.
Adobe Premiere mobile offers powerful features including Enhance Audio for studio-quality sound, frame-accurate editing, a multi-track timeline, creator-made templates, effects, transitions, Adobe Stock assets and music, and video editing and exporting up to 4K. The app also includes Firefly-powered generative AI features such as Generative Fill, Image-to-Video and Generate Sound Effects, while providing a no-ads, watermark-free and distraction-free editing experience without forced login or upgrade prompts.
Creators including Adhiraj Singh Anand and Mohanraj Thangaraj have highlighted the convenience and professional editing capabilities of Premiere mobile, particularly for creating content while travelling or on the go. The app is available now on the Google Play Store for devices running Android 13 or later with a minimum of 5GB RAM. The free version includes essential editing tools, with upgrades available for additional generative credits and storage; upcoming features include Adobe Fonts, enhanced captions, keyframes, cropping, beat detection and continued editing on Premiere desktop.
