According to the direction of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Minister of Housing and Urban Development S.Muthusamy on behalf of the Highways Department, on the occasion of the centenary anniversary of Dr. Kalaignar, at Dindal Attappampalayam Division Area (Ring Road), Perundurai Road, Erode District, the saplings were planted under the leadership of District collector Raja Gopal Sunkara, in the presence of Erode East Assembly Member E.V.K.S. Elangovan and Erode Municipal Mayor S.Nagarathnam.
Erode Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor V. Selvaraj, Highway Department Supervising Engineer, Saravanan, Divisional Engineer Matheswaran, Municipal Engineer Vijayakumar and others are present.
