A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore and The Asia and Pacific Seed Alliance Ltd., Bangkok and Federation of Seed Industry of India, New Delhi, India on 19.09.2023 under University Connect Program to develop skills and knowledge of students for future career in seed sector in the Asia Pacific Region.
Dr.V.Geetha Lakshmi, Vice-chancellor, TNAU, Dr.Manishkumar, President, APSA and Raghavan Sampathkumar, Executive Director, FSII signed the MoU to establish research and academic collaborations.
Dr.Shivendra Bajaj, Technical Advisor, APSA spoke about the importance and need of the University Connect Program to raise the University and students to Global level. Executive members of APSA Ms.Kuna, Mr. Xiaofeng Li and Mr.Rahul Pagar, and Partnership and Compliance Manager, APSA Ms.WeeranuchMhadlhoo participated and co-ordinated the virtual MoU signing ceremony. University Officers Dr.R.Tamizh Vendan, Registrar, Dr.N.Senthil, Dean (SPGS); Dr.R.Umarani, Director (Seed Centre) and Dr.V.Manonmani, Professor and Head, Department of Seed Science and Technology participated in the MoU signing ceremony and graced the occasion.
