TNAU inks MoU with Western Sydney University, Australia

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore and Western Sydney University, Australia at Bengaluru on 21.09.2023 for facilitating Postgraduate Students’ Research through Exchange Programme primarily foster Academic and Research Co-operation between the two Institutions. The Universities jointly agree to initiate exchange of students where candidates shall complete part of their degree programmes in one University and part in another.

Dr. V. Geethalakshmi, Vice-Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore and Professor Deborah Sweeney, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Western Sydney University, Australia signed the agreement, and exchanged in presence of Professor Linda Taylor, Pro Vice-Chancellor (International), Western Sydney University, Australia where they remarked about the essentiality of this academic collaboration and the way forward. 

Other collaborators, Dr. S. V.Suresha, Vice-Chancellor, University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru, Dr. A. Sakeer Husain, Registrar, Kerala Agricultural University, Kerala along with Dr. N. Senthil, Dean (School of Post Graduate Studies), Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, Dr. NishaRakhesh, Senior Advisor (Research Strategy and Partnerships), Western Sydney University, Australia and other delegates attended the signing ceremony and graced the occasion.
