Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited (Ujjivan SFB) announced today the opening of its new branch in Tirupattur town, located in the Sivaganga district of Tamil Nadu. Ujjivan SFB provides Affordable Housing Loan ranging from ₹2 lakh to ₹75 lakh for individuals looking to purchase/construct their dream home, as well as individual loans from ₹35,000 to ₹3 lakh and an overdraft facility through BusiMoni OD, up to ₹2 lakh. The Bank offers Savings Account for the entire family through its Sampoorna Family Banking proposition with an interest rate of up to 7.5% and also offers Current Account facilities and services for business purposes.
Ujjivan SFB this year also launched an innovative app, “Hello Ujjivan”, India’s first voice-visual-vernacular banking app*. The app is designed to provide banking access to individuals with limited reading and writing skills. Hello Ujjivan supports voice interaction in eight regional languages and English: Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Odia, and Assamese. The customers can transact in their regional language to execute banking transactions and avail services such as paying loan EMIs, opening FD and RD, transferring funds, checking account balances, and the loan acknowledgement process, amongst others.
