NSS Puducherry organizes Meri Maati Mera Desh Amrit Kalash Yatra

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Government Arts College, Yanam, Puducherry, has organized the Amrit Kalash Yatra under the 'Meri Maati-Mera Desh' campaign with the active participation of faculty and students in the Old Seminar Hall of Dr. S.R.K. Government Arts College, Yanam.

The Amrit Kalash Yatra under the 'Meri Maati-Mera Desh' campaign is aiming to pay tribute to our beloved 'Motherland' and the courageous 'Veers' who have made the supreme sacrifice for our nation.

Each NSS volunteer has brought a cup of rice and given to Amrit Kalash, this Kalash will be hand over to Regional coordinator office Dr. V. Bhaskar Reddy, Principal, Dr. SRK Govt. Arts College is the chief guest for the program. He spoke about the importance of the theme of “Amrit Kalash” and its importance and mentioned that it’s our duty to recognize and appreciate the Sacrifice done by Brave Hearts to our Motherland. NSS Regional Coordinator, Chintapalli Sudhkar is the Guest of Honor of the Function. He interacted with the NSS Volunteers and explained the Motive behind the program and appreciated the volunteers for their active participation. Mr. G. Prabhkar, Asst. Prof of Mathematics have also motivated the Volunteers and taken part in the occasion.

All NSS Volunteers along with the Guests, Faculty and student have taken the “Panch Pran Pledge”. Mr. S. Srinivas , NSS Unit-2, Program officer of Dr. SRK Government arts college have conducted the program and proposed Vote of Thanks.
