TCS plans to Double its Staffs

Currently, the India’s largest IT services company TCS has employed 1,600 people in France across four major centers in Europe. Now TCS is aiming to double its staff in France over the next three years as it sees robust business growth in the Europe. France is one among the fastest growing markets in Europe for TCS, growing much faster than the numbers it reports for the continent, said its head of European business, Sapthagiri Chapalapalli.

Also according to him, TCS has been operating in France for more than 30 years and believes that the majority of the foundation is currently in place for the company to grow at a quicker rate in the future. A bulk of 1,600 staffs are working in Paris, while there are three other centers across the large country including the aviation hub of Toulouse and education hub of Puteaux. 

Out of which up to 60% of its staff is French Citizen, while the leadership team is from outside France and they have been working with 80 French clients across all major sectors which are key to the local economy and also runs an innovation center in Pairs. Chapalapalli also said French companies have become more open over the last five years and the recent visit of French President Emmanuel Macron has given a “Fillip” to TCS business in the country.
