A conference for district level school management committee Heads was held on behalf of the Erode district education department at Nanda College of Engineering. The Erode district collector Mr. Rajagopal Sunkara presided the event and the Primary education officer Mr. Sampath gave the welcome speech.
Following this Mr.V.Shanmugan, Chairman of Sri Nanda Education Foundation gave a thanks note. He said that, “Based on the government's policy of Vasipom, Nesipom’ we have come forward to provide books in order to improve the reading skills of students studying in government schools.
Based on this, He requested Erode District Collector MR. Raja Gopal Sunkara to provide 3500 books and shelves worth of Rs.9lakhs. The Books was distributed to the government schools in the areas of Perundhurai, Lakkapuram, sempulichampalayam, Thiruvachi and polavakalipalayam, Erode District.
Erode District Collector Mr.Rajagopal Sunkara waved off the flag to the vehicle loaded with books and shelves which was donated to 5 Principals. Education Officer Mr. Sampath was present at the event.
