The 54th College Day of Arul Anandar College was held on 16th March 2024. Dr. Gambhir Singh Chauhan, Joint Secretary University Grants Commission, New Delhi presided over the function. Rev. Dr. M. Anbarasu, S.J., Principal, welcomed the gathering, presented the 54th Annual Report of the College and expounded the achievements made by the management, departments, Staff and students for the academic year 2023- 24.
Retiring Professors Dr. Ambudoss Arvind, Dr. Thomas William, Dr. Jesurajan and Non-teaching staff members Mr. Joseph Xavier Raja Mr.Nelson and Mr. Mokkaiyan were honored with shawl and memento. Rev. Dr. John Pragasam, S.J, Rector, Rev. Dr. A. Antonysamy, S.J., Secretary and Dr. A. Sundararaj., Deputy Principal offered felicitations.
Chief Guest Dr. Gambhir Singh Chauhan, Joint Secretary University Grants Commission, New Delhi in his address insisted that students should not miss out the opportunities of learning new things. He felt very delighted to be in Tamil Nadu which is known for academic personalities. He further stressed that students should be creative and hardworking and should remember the noble service of the great leaders of our nation.
Dr. Sr. Mary Lowrencia, Convenor of the College Day proposed vote of thanks. The students staged cultural programmes. The function ended with the National Anthem.
