Coromandel International Limited, one of the most trusted agricultural brands in India in partnership with United Way of Chennai, is delighted to unveil new “Classroom” building in Union Primary School, Alavayal Village and new “Toilet complex” for Boys’ in Panchayat Union Primary School, Ammapatti of Pudukottai under Project Aakkam with objective of providing conducive learning atmosphere, we have constructed additional classroom to meet the space requirement for accommodating students with comfortable seating and hygienic washroom facilities for healthy toileting.
Under Project Nalam, with the objective providing conducive infrastructure facilities in healthcare centres, we have refurbished the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Koppanapatty with the objective of strengthening existing building structure through repair works, Color wash and plumbing works. With a shared commitment to community development and sustainable progress, this collaboration created safer and more conducive environments for the beneficiaries.
The inauguration ceremony of the improved facilities at school and primary health centre was graced in presence of following guests Mr. Mageshram, AVP & Head Operations – Bio Products – Coromandel International Ltd., Mr. B. Senthil, District Education Officer-Elementary, Mr. R. Govindan, Assistant Project officer, Ms. S. Ramathilagam, Block Educational Officer, Mr. I. Ilahi John, Block Educational Officer and Mr. P. Sivakumar, Supervisor.
